K Lazy S Farms began as a commercial cow/calf operation consisting primarily of Brangus and F1 Cross Cattle (Hereford X Brahman).  After introducing Gelbvieh bulls several years ago and, as a result, experiencing benefits such as increased weaning weights and docility of the cattle, half of the commercial herd was sold in order to begin raising registered cattle. Currently we run approximately 100 commercial cows and 75 registered cows in our operation.
